Art Restoration Services

Our Expertise

Fine art restoration and cleaning is a combination of art and science. Restoration techniques are specific not only to each medium and material - oil, watercolor, acrylic, etc, but also to the type of damage being corrected - smoke, water, UV exposure, or even physical damage. Anabela at Brush Strokes Fine Art has spent years developing the specialized techniques needed to restore these works of art and extend the lifespan of each piece. We do all restoration work in-house - we do not ship any artwork out to third parties for any restoration services, so you can be sure your artwork will be handled with the utmost care and respect it deserves. Do you have a question about some artwork that needs restoring? Please don't hesitate to contact us about our art restoration services, or read on below to see some of our restoration work. Painting Restoration

No two art restorations are alike. This amazing 300 year old oil painting required a very delicate approach, matching the cleaning solutions to each color on the canvas and working in very small areas from the lighter colors in the center outwards. A proper art restoration project can take many weeks to complete - this is not a process that can be rushed.
